What is your favorite thing about the Army?
The ability to train soldiers from different countries, races, and religions.

What inspires you?
Being a part of the biggest organization in the world!

What is your most memorable moment?
Both happened recently. The first one, while I was in the hospital recovering from a heart attack, about 20 of my soldiers came to visit and brought me all kinds of Pittsburgh Steelers memorabilia!

The second, being in the heart doctor’s office and having a guy with no legs wearing a retired Army shirt, come up and shake my hand and thank me for serving our country!

Family Life
I have been married to my wife Laura for 8 years. We have a beautiful daughter Naomi, who is 7 years old.

Is there anything else that you’d like to add?
I was a part of the Battalion that had the 507th Maintenance Company that was ambushed in 2003 I lost several of my co workers that day. Please keep in mind that I am no hero and will never claim to be. The soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines that we have lost….for they are the heroes!
