Hunter L. Bashaw

Hunter L. Bashaw, 16, of Oil City, died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, January 26, 2011, at his home.

Born September 27, 1994 in Franklin, he was the son of Rose L. Moore of Oil City and the late Arthur F. Bashaw, II.

Hunter was in the tenth grade at Pathways in Oil City. He attended elementary school at both Smedley and Seventh Street Schools in Oil City.

He enjoyed camping, wrestling, swimming, bike riding, and spending time with his family.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, is a sister, Jeanette M. Bashaw, and a brother, Zackary D. Bashaw, both of Oil City; and the following aunts and uncles; Bill and Joann Albaugh of Oil City, Jack Bashaw, Geraldine Bashaw, and Sue Bashaw, all of Monroe, Michigan; his maternal grandmother, Patricia Moore of Emlenton; and a number of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Moore, and his paternal grandparents, Jack and Jeanette Bashaw.

Friends will be received Friday (Jan. 28th) from 4-7 p.m. in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, Inc., 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday (Jan. 28th) at 7 p.m. with Mr. Daniel Paden, officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hile-Best Funeral Home, PO Box 245, Seneca, PA 16346, to help with funeral expenses.
