Margaret B. Davis

Margaret B. Davis, age 93 of Main St, Strattanville went to be with her Lord, surrounded by her Loving family on 1/16/12. Born Apr. 27, 1918 in Monroe Twp, she was the daughter of the late David Smith and Ella Siverling Smith.

Mrs. Davis worked at the Clarion Hospital in the janitorial and kitchen for many years before her retirement.

She had a great love for the Lord and her family. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, enjoyed her flowers and was an inspiration to her family and friends.

Survivors, three sons, David “Elwood” Davis and his wife Tineka of Springboro, PA, Russell Davis and his wife Dusty of Strattanville, Ross Davis and his wife Janet of Albion, PA, a daughter, Dorothy Walter and her husband Larry of Strattanville, 13 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons’, Clair and Roy Davis, two sisters, Charlotte Byers and her twin sister, Martha Baughman.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory in Clarion. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Strattanville with Rev. Steve Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in the Asbury Cemetery.
