Nancy Shaw McKee

Nancy Shaw McKee, a resident of Clarion for 40 years, died January 15 at the Masonic Village in Sewickley, PA where she had lived for the past five years.

Nancy was born March 29, 1922 in New Castle, PA, the daughter of Harry W. and Nancy (Shaw) McKee.

Nancy served as a librarian at Clarion University where she made many lifelong friends. She was active in the AAUW, various book clubs and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clarion. Nancy enjoyed traveling and visited the four corners of the world.

Nancy was the sister of the late Harry McKee. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Peggy McKee (James) Lamoree and a cousin, Elizabeth MacDonald.

A memorial service will be held at the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory n Clarion on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Scott Hauser of the First Presbyterian Church in Clarion officiating. Burial will be private.
