Emlenton Man Ejected from Vehicle, Airlifted to Pittsburgh Hospital

EMLENTON, Pa. – A 46-year-old Emlenton man was airlifted to a Pittsburgh hospital following a one-vehicle crash in Richland Twp., Venango County, early Sunday morning.

Franklin-based state police said Charles F. Minnicks, 46, Emlenton, was traveling on West Home Road in Richland Twp., Venango County, at approximately 12:25 a.m. on Sunday when he lost control of his 2004 Ford F-150 due to slippery road conditions.

The vehicle then left the roadway, struck an embankment, and rolled over.

Minnicks, who was ejected during the crash, was transported to UPMC Presbyterian via Stat Medivac for treatment of major injuries.

Emlenton Ambulance assisted at the scene.
