Teen Injured in Venango County Accident

CORNPLANTER TWP., Pa. – An 18-year-old girl was injured in an accident in Cornplanter Twp., Venango County last night.

State police in Franklin said Diana M. Shook, 18, Pleasantville, was traveling on State Highway 227 at approximately 10:30 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle due to icy road conditions.

Shook’s vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned.

Shook was transported to Titusville hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
