Oil City Man Sentenced for Beating Baby

OIL CITY, Pa. – An Oil City man has been sentenced in the beating of a 3-year-old boy.

According to court records, Ernest Dykins, 26, Oil City, was sentenced to six to twenty years in prison for assaulting a 3-year-old boy at a residence in Oil City in May.

The boy reportedly suffered skull fractures and bleeding in his retinas.
