Sigel Woman Injured in Crash

ELDRED TWP., Pa. – A Sigel woman was injured in an accident in Eldred Twp., Jefferson County.

Police said Penny Geer, Sigel, was traveling south on SR-36 in Eldred Twp. around 9:05 a.m. on Monday when she lost control of her vehicle on the slush covered road.

Geer’s vehicle left the roadway, struck a utility pole, and flipped onto its driver’s side.

Geer was transported to Brookville Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Sigel VFD and ambulance personnel secured the scene and controlled traffic until the utility pole was replaced.
