Woman Injured as Flames Engulf Car in Tionesta Crash

TIONESTA, Pa. – A 57-year-old woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident in Tionesta last night.

Police tell exploreClarion.com that Kathyrn K. Krask, 57, Tidioute, was traveling north on SR-62 in Tionesta Twp. at approximately 5:50 p.m. when her vehicle crossed over the southbound lane and exited the roadway.

Krask’s 2005 Ford Escape hit a guide rail and then struck two trees.

According to officials on the scene, Krask’s vehicle then became engulfed in flames.

Krask was transported to UPMC Seneca for treatment of moderate injuries.
