Jean Louise Nulph, age 76, of Rimersburg, PA passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Clarion Hospital, Clarion, PA with her family by her side.

She was born May 14, 1935 in Connoration, Clarion Co., PA, the daughter of James Thomas Nulph and Jesse Louise (Conner) Nulph Barger.

Jean was a resident of the Clarion county area her entire life. She attended the Union High School and was a graduate with the class of 1951 at the young age of 16. Jean was a member of St. Richards Catholic Church of Rimersburg. She was employed as an inspector with the Owens Illinois Glass Plant in Clarion for 34 years prior to her retirement in 1992.

Jean was a kind woman with a loving heart who especially enjoyed the company of her family and friends. She was a talented crafter, particularly plastic canvas and embroidery. Jean was always very family-oriented, preparing delicious home-style dinners and making sure everyone was taken care of. Over the years she was also a great benefactor to numerous charitable organizations. A quiet lady of few words, Jean had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed by those many lives she touched during her time here on earth.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sisters, Doris Nulph, of Rimersburg and Virginia Edwards and husband, Vernon, of Blairsville; numerous cousins; and special friends, Debbie Conner and husband, Junior, of Rimersburg, Mary Ann Fye, of Texas, and Penny Coradi, of Rimersburg.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 758 Main Street, Rimersburg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 10, 2012 at St. Richards Catholic Church, Purity Ave., Rimersburg, with Father William Kuba as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Twp., Clarion Co., PA.
