70-year-old Woman Struck by Car in Cranberry

CRANBERRY, Pa. – A pedestrian was struck by a car in Cranberry Twp., Venango County, on Tuesday.

Franklin-based state police said Donna J. Reese, 70, Seneca, was attempting to cross SR-257 in Cranberry when she was struck by a vehicle operated by Karen S. Scott, 54, Oil City.

A vehicle operated by an unnamed driver subsequently struck the rear of Scott’s vehicle.

Ms. Reese was transported to UPMC NW for treatment of moderate injuries sustained in the crash.

Ms. Scott sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
