Franklin H. “Frank” Colwell, 49, of Sligo died Sunday February 12, 2012 at the Clarion Hospital. Born September 16, 1962, in Brookville, PA, he was the son of McClelland H. “Mac” and Geraldine P. (Moore) Colwell.

Frank was a truck driver for Gardenscape in Knox for the past 12 years. He enjoyed loved the outdoors, hunting and camping. He was great at small household repairs and was computer whiz. Frank dearly loved his family, especially his 3 grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his wife Ann J. Colwell of Sligo. His father Mac H. Colwell and companion Marie Wyant of Rimersburg. 1 Daughter- Renee J. Colwell of Fisher. 1 Step-Daughter April D. Best and husband Jerry of Sligo. 2 Brothers Aiden Colwell of Sligo and Wayne Colwell of Clarion. 1 Sister Paulette Troup and husband Raymond of Curlsville. He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren, Richelle and Leanna Wolfe and Colten Best. And many nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by 2 daughters and 1 son.

Funeral Services for Frank H. Colwell will be held 11am Saturday February 18, 2012 at the Sligo Chapel, Sligo PA. The Rev. Larry Piper, Pastor of the Sligo Chapel will officiate.

Frank’s family asks that memorial contributions be made to Varner Funeral Home PO Box 376, Sligo, PA to defray funeral expenses.

Arrangements are under the care of the Varner Funeral Home.
