Man Injured in Farmington Twp. Crash

VOWINCKEL, Pa. – A 52-year-old man was injured in a one-vehicle accident near Vowinckel on Wednesday.

Marienville-based state police said Lawrence Smith, 52, Rouseville, was traveling north on SR-66 near Slater Drive at approximately 5:33 a.m. on Wednesday when he lost control of his vehicle due to icy road conditions.

Smith’s vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment, and rolled onto its roof.

Smith sustained minor injuries in the crash.

Farmington Twp. VFD and Farmington Twp. Ambulance assisted at the scene.
