Gun Stolen in Venango County

PRESIDENT TWP., Pa. – A gun was reported stolen in President Twp., Venango County yesterday.

Franklin-based state police said a 19-year-old New Castle man was hunting at a location near Flat Iron Rd. in President Twp. at approximately 9:40 a.m. when he inadvertently left his 20-gauge Ithaca shotgun laying on the ground.

The victim returned at 10:30 a.m. to find that someone had taken the gun.
