Driver Ejected from Vehicle in Tionesta Area Crash

TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) – Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident on SR-666 in Hickory Township, Forest County yesterday afternoon.

State police in Marienville say the accident occurred when Mutaqui R. Wright, 24, of Erie, failed to negotiate a right turn while traveling west on SR-666.

Police say Wright’s vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree, and then traveled over an embankment.

Wright was ejected from the vehicle during the accident.

Wright and a passenger, Crystal Wright, 28, Erie, were both transported to Titusville Hospital for treatment.

Officials say both occupants sustained moderate injuries.

Tionesta VFD, Tionesta Ambulance, and Clarion Hospital Ambulance assisted at the scene.
