Two Escape Injury in Washington Township Crash

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. – A 17-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy escaped injury in an accident in Washington Township, Clarion County early Saturday morning.

Police said a 17-year-old Marienville boy was traveling south on SR-36 when he lost control of his 1994 Chevrolet Camaro.

The vehicle traveled off the east side of SR-36 and struck a culvert and a ditch before coming to a rest.

Both the driver and 12-year-old male passenger escaped injury.

Police say the vehicle sustained major damage in the accident.

Washington Township VFD/Fire Police assisted at the scene.
