Pirates Hurdle to be Grand Marshal of Autumn Leaf Parade

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – Pittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle has been announced as the Grand Marshal of the 2012 Clarion Hospital “Tournament of Leaves” Parade.

Clarion Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tracy Becker has confirmed that Pittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle will be the Grand Marshal of this year’s parade.

“I’m ecstatic. I’m a huge Pirates fan,” said Becker.

The parade steps off on Saturday at Noon.

The Pirates finish up the season today with a home game versus the Atlanta Braves.

The team’s 79 wins are the most by any Pirates team since 1997.

Additional information on Hurdle’s visit to Clarion is expected to be released later today.
