State police in Punxsutawney released a statement today seeking the public’s help in finding 19-year-old Devan Cathlene Knapp of Brookville.
Police say Devan purchased a new pearl white 2013 Scion FR-S (pictured below) and advised her mother at 6:00 p.m. on January 11 that she was “going to show off her new car.”
She was wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt, black leggings, a black zip-up sweatshirt, and black Ugg boots.
A family member confirmed video surveillance revealed that Devan was at Sheetz in Brookville around 7:45 p.m. on January 11.
Around 11:00 p.m. that night, Devan sent a text to her mother saying “she was watching movies.” She has not been seen or heard from since.
Police were able to track her cell phone to the Fisher area, prompting a search and rescue team to search that area on Monday afternoon.
Devan is approximately 5 ft. 2 in. tall and has a small build. She has red hair and blue eyes.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information pertaining to this case should contact Punxsutawney-based state police at 814-938-0510.
