Small Games of Chance Training Class Set for March 26

The Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission would like to inform the public and those serving on boards, members of booster clubs, social clubs, nonprofit organizations, etc. that training on the rules, regulations, and laws regarding the Small Games of Chance license will be conducted at the Holiday Inn in Clarion, PA on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Pennsylvania Local Option Small Games of Chance Act authorizes certain eligible organizations to conduct limited types of gambling. This training will be facilitated by Sgt. Jamie Jones, Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.

The training will cover the legalities in regards to gambling and fundraising. This training is made possible through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs. Attendance is limited to the first 100 persons to register for the event.

Dinner will be provided free of charge.
