State Police Investigating Logging Death in Porter Township

PORTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police are investigating the accidental death of a 36-year-old man that occurred sometime between 9:55 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. on February 21, in a wooded area off Long Point Road, in Porter Township, Clarion County.

According to police, they are investigating the death of 36-year-old Andy Dan Schlabach of Smicksburg.

Police say the death was accidental in nature and occurred while he was logging at the above location.

The investigation continues.
