Fairmount City Man Charged in Hit-and-Run Crash in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police say around 6:34 p.m. on February 23, a hit-and-run accident occurred on East Main Street, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

According to police, 47-year-old Michael Gilliland of Fairmount City was operating a Jeep on East Main Street and hit a cement wall and guard rail.

He left the scene without notifying the police department.

He was charged with several traffic citations.
