Man Charged with Retail Theft in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — According to Brookville Borough Police, around 12:00 p.m. on February 22, a theft occurred at Jack’s Boot Shop, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Police say 48-year-old Harold Bo Huff, Jr., of Punxsutawney, has been charged with retail theft and traffic violations following an investigation.

According to police, it is alleged that Huff took a pair of work boots from Jack’s Boot Shop without paying for them.

The boots were recovered by the police and returned.

Charges have been filed at Magistrate Bazylak’s office.

Punxsutawney Borough Police assisted in the investigation.
