Rollover Crash on Route 208, Driver Injured

ELK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, around 9:20 p.m. on September 24, a one-car accident occurred on State Route 208, west of Buckhorn Road, in Elk Township, Clarion County.

Police say 21-year-old Paige M. Wise, of Shippenville, was traveling west on SR 208 in a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse and veered off the south side of the roadway.

The car traveled approximately 220′ through the grass and struck a utility pole, then rolled over and came to rest approximately 40′ past the utility pole in the wood line, according to police.

She was not using a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.

Shippenville Ambulance transported her to Clarion Hospital.

Charges are pending, police say.

Shippenville Volunteer Fire Department, Shippenville Ambulance, and Mark’s Auto assisted at the scene.
