KNOX TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating a recent theft in on Knoxdale Road, in Knox Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, an unknown perpetrator(s) entered a Brookville woman’s unlocked vehicle and removed $380.00 in cash from her purse.

The incident occurred between sometime between 7:15 p.m. on February 18, and 10:00 a.m. on February 19.

The investigation is ongoing.
