Sandra Joan Rak, age 70, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at her Clarion home.

The daughter of Albert M. “Casey” and Evelyn (Hindman) Fleming, Sandy was born on November 25, 1943 in Clarion.

On a sunny day, you would find Sandy planting her flowers, tending her garden, or repurposing collectables in her home. Sandy and her husband Sid vacationed yearly in Myrtle Beach, ultimately her favorite place to be. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially antiquing with her daughters. Sandy’s charity of choice has always been St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and donations are welcomed (www.stjude.org).

In addition to her husband, Sid Rak, she is survived by her three children, Shaughn and Bill Wolbert, Trey and Sally Hetrick, and Tera Rak; and her beloved three grandchildren, Jared, Alyssa and Jacob Wolbert.

She is also survived by her sister, Cheryl and husband, Bill Cheek of Tennessee, her brother Dan and wife, Neva Fleming of Clarion, Pa. and her brother-in-law, Thom Doran of Arizona.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister, Karen Doran.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory, 330 Wood Street in Clarion where memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 29th, at 11 am. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
