John William Becker AKA Jim Rutherford ,82, of 1 Sycamore St. Oil City, PA. died at 5:15 A.M. Sunday March 30, 2014, at Sugarcreek Station in Franklin.

Born Oct. 3, 1931, in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Sylvester R. Becker Sr. & Winifred E. Rutherford Becker.

Jim served as a Sgt. in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He worked in San Francisco, CA. as a Passport Processor.

Mr. Rutherford was of the Methodist Faith.

He is survived by two brothers, Sylvester R. “Bob” Becker Jr. of Oil City and Raymond E. Becker of Titusville.

In adition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a two-year-old sister Maxine Becker and two sister-in-laws, Donna Becker and Dorothy Becker

Their will be no viewing or visitation.

Interment will be in Brandon Cemetery.
