Lucinda Woman Injured in Crash on Route 322

PAINT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 10:30 a.m. on March 28, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 322, near Tom’s Sales and Service, in Paint Township, Clarion County.

According to police, Melanie A. Lowrey, 71, of Foxburg, was traveling east on Route 322 in a 2004 Ford Taurus, when she stopped for traffic.

Police say Amelia F. Hargenrader, 22, of Lucinda, was also traveling east on Route 322 and failed to stop. She struck Lowrey’s car from behind with her 2009 Honda CR-V.

Both drivers were using seat belts.

Lowrey was not injured; Hargenrader suffered minor injuries.

Hargenrader was charged with a traffic violation.
