(EYT) — Crews responded to a fire last night at Polk State Center, located on Lakewood Circle, just off Route 62. Firefighters responded to the blaze at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. According to a representative from Venango County 911, the fire was under control around 8:37 p.m. Sources say the fire broke out in the cafeteria area. Crews from Polk, Franklin, Utica, Rocky Grove, Sandycreek, Stoneboro, Hermitage, and Sandy Lake responded to the fire. Community Ambulance Service also responded, but no injuries have been reported. The scene was cleared around 9:25 p.m. There is no word on the cause of the fire.
