The first-place Griffins (22-9 overall, 11-1 PSAC West) took advantage of eight Clarion errors on the day to score a total of 11 unearned runs in winning by scores of 10-3 and 9-2.

In Game One, a seven-run Seton Hill fourth-inning fueled by for Clarion errors helped the Griffins break a 1-all tie and get the 10-3 win.

Then in Game Two, Seton Hill used a five-run fifth inning, four of the runs were earned, to break open a 4-2 lead on its way to the 9-2 victory.

Clarion returns to action at 11 a.m. Sunday at Seton Hill. The Golden Eagles will be the home team in the doubleheader that was moved Saturday from Clarion to Seton Hill. Clarion is still looking to play its first true home game of the season with Sunday’s game marking the third straight weekend the Golden Eagles have had to move home doubleheaders to the opponents field because of weather-related field conditions in Clarion.
