Thomas Eugene Ruditis, 56, of 2001 W First St, Oil City, died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.

Born December 31, 1957 in Franklin, he was a son of the late John and Dorothy Jane Beightol Ruditis.

Tom was a truck driver, most recently working for FedEx.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Tom enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and hunting.

On January 10, 2003 he married the former Jan Turnbull Kurschinske, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by two sons, Cory Ruditis and wife Allison of Oil City, and Zachery Ruditis of Rouseville; one daughter, Jamie Gordon and husband Matt of Franklin; five grandchildren, Jocelyn Gordon, Reiley Gordon, Braden Gordon, Carter Ruditis and Owen Ruditis; and a step son, Scott Kurschinske of Oil City.

Also surviving is a sister, Karen Ruditis of Jackson Center.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm Sunday at the Morrison Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home at 4 pm with the Rev. Sharon Hilfiger, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating.
