Virginia E. Buzard Myers, 88, of 307 Oak Rd. Oil City, PA. died at 4:30 P.M. Thursday April 10, 2014 at Oakwood Heights in Oil City.

Born January 21, 1925 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Silas A. Buzard & Lena Lasira Swartz Buzard

Virginia had worked as a controller for Quaker State .

She was involved with and sold Avon for many years and had won numerous cruises for her sales achievement.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the apple of her eye.

She traveled extensively to the Bahamas, the Caribbean and to Canada.

Virginia enjoyed meeting up with other Quaker State retirees when they would have their outings.

She was a member of the Belle Lettres Club and a member of the Willow St. Free Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Richard Buzard & his wife Roberta Davis of Oil City; Three grandchildren, Todd Yashinski of NH and his children Bella & Charlie, Jaime Jo Yashinski of Oil City and her children Nolan Wile, Chanel Wile and Alexis Yashinski, Daniel Buzard & his wife Shannon of Oil City and their daughter Jasmyn and son Brayden.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Tina & Keith Lalley.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert H. Buzard; a sister, Lena Buzard Lewis Dilley; and two infants George Lloyd Buzard and Silas Buzard Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 19, 2014 at the Willow St. Free Methodist Church with Rev. T. Christopher Hill Presiding.
