Ruthanne M. Wotring

Scan0003Ruthanne M. Wotring, 71 of Fairmount City, died Saturday afternoon, April 12, at the Clarion Hospital.

She was born on July 3, 1942 in Hawthorn and daughter of Frank and Stella (Troup) Yount. She was married on June 15, 1962 to Ronald L. Wotring and he preceded her in death on July 20, 1999.

Ruthanne was a teacher for Head Start. She attended the Christian Fellowship Church in Fairmount City.

She is survived by two daughters, Cindy J. Wotring and her companion Oscar Brooks of Fairmount City and Chariety A. Kriebel and her husband Michael of Bradenton, Florida, six grandchildren, Charles Brooks, Jr., Julianne Brooks, Amanda Kriebel, Kameron Kriebel, Logan Kriebel, and Landan Kriebel, four brothers, William and Vernetta Yount of Oil City, Jack and Edna Yount of Hawthorn, Ernie and Nancy Yount of Seminole and Don and Doris Yount of Franklin, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Ron, she was also preceded in death by both parents, five sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be on Monday, April 14, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor James Thomas officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mahoning Township, Armstrong County.
