Rose Miller Braden

Thumbnail (1)Rose Miller Braden, 52, of Erie, passed away at 7:40 p.m. on Saturday, April 12th, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Born December 30, 1961 in Titusville, Rose was the daughter of the late Cecil and Pearl Krepp Cole. She was married to Randy Braden an he survives.

Rose was a graduate of Franklin High School. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family. Rose was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler’s, Nascar, and Harley Davidson fan. She also enjoyed reading and gardening.

In addition to her husband, Randy, Rose is survived by her daughter, Lana Mestas and her fiance’, Timothy Dawes, of Oil City; her sister, Carla Daily and her husband, Jim, of Franklin; and her two grandchildren, Precious Clark and Dante Vogan, both of Oil City. Rose is also survived by her step-father, LaVerne Wentworth of Franklin; step-brother, Randy Wentworth of Sandy Lake; her step-sister, Janice Wentworth of Sandy Lake, and Julie Wentworth of Franklin; and numerous brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, and her step-children.

Family and friends of Rose will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Wednesday, April 16th from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 17th.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Gardinier Funeral Home in Rose’s memory to help defray funeral expenses.
