SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. — Phil Kapp – the local Thrivent Representative at Marianne Corners, has been selected as one of the Lutheran Community Foundation’s 2013 honorees of the LCF Voices in Philanthropy award. This honor recognizes only two Thrivent Financial representatives in each RFO (regional division) who have made charitable planning a significant part of their work over the past year. Phil’s efforts have helped clients create giving programs that integrate their charitable interests and financial circumstances. Not only are clients perpetuating their values, they also receive maximum tax benefits based on when and how they give.
An example of a workshop that supports this type of Charitable Giving is the upcoming VNA Workshop which is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, at the Clarion Forest VNA Building on Perkins Road, Clarion. The time slots for these workshops are 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.
