BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, around 8:01 a.m. on April 20, a one-car accident occurred on Interstate 80 East, at mile marker 59.3, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.
Police say 30-year-old Aaron A. Pope, of White Plains, New York, was traveling on I-80 and a deer ran into the path of his 1999 Honda Civic.
The car struck the deer, then it was driven to the berm.
Pope was using his seat belt and was not injured.
