State Police: Two Killed, 160 Injured During Easter Holiday Driving Period

 title=The Pennsylvania State Police investigated 397 crashes during the three-day Easter holiday driving period in which two people were killed and 128 others were injured.

The Easter driving period covered Friday, April 18, through Sunday, April 20. During those three days, state police issued 6,608 speeding citations, charged 326 people with driving under the influence, cited 600 individuals for not wearing seat belts, and ticketed 96 motorists for not securing children in safety seats.

During the 2013 Easter driving period, which covered March 29-31, two people were killed and 160 others were injured in 455 crashes investigated by troopers.
