Vehicle Slams into Deer on Route 28, Driver Escapes Injury

REDBANK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, around 8:23 p.m. on April 18, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 28, 1132 feet south of Bishkiehl Lane, in Redbank Township, Clarion County.

Police say 24-year-old Justin P. Signorella, of Natrona Heights, was traveling south on SR 28 and a deer ran from the west side of the roadway and onto the travel lanes.

Signorella was unable to stop, and his 1999 Chevrolet Suburban impacted the deer.

He was using a seat belt and was not injured.

The Suburban sustained disabling damage.
