82-Year-Old Tidioute Man Charged with Terroristic Threats

NORTH EAST, Pa. (EYT) — According to Erie-based State Police, an 82-year-old Tidioute man has been charged with terroristic threats resulting from an incident that occurred on Grist Mill Road, in North East, Erie County.

Police say 82-year-old Robert Ray McMahan, of Tidioute, allegedly called a 67-year-old North East man at his home and made threats on his life due to being upset about the victim purchasing three parcels of his property at a tax sale two years prior.

Charges were filed on McMahan with Magisterial District Justice Hammer’s office 06-3-02 on April 23, 2014.

No other information was provided.
