Police Release Details on Crash in Green Township, One Person Injured

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say around 8:20 a.m. on April 3, a two-car accident occurred on Carson Lane, at its intersection with Colonel Drake Highway, in Green Township, Forest County.

According to police, 53-year-old Michael E. Carson, of Tionesta, and 28-year-old Jonathan D. Bauman, of Centerville, were involved in the collision.

Police say a 2000 Honda Accord driven by Carson entered the path of a 1999 International Harvester 4700 truck driven by Bauman.

The commercial truck struck the driver’s side of the Accord.

Tionesta EMS transported Carson to Clarion Hospital for injuries of unknown severity.

Bauman and a passenger, 19-year-old Dwight A. Kuepfer, also of Centerville, were not injured.

No other information was provided.
