CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say around 10:20 a.m. on May 2, a two-vehicle accident occurred on Meadow Road, at its intersection with Main Street, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, 50-year-old Nancy J. Obenrader, of Fryburg, and 67-year-old Evelyn M. Spence, of Seneca, were involved in the collision.

Police say this crash occurred as a 2009 Subaru Forster, driven by Obenrader, was traveling west on Meadow Road and failed to stop at the 4-way stop at the intersection with Main Street.

A 2009 Toyota, driven by Spence, stopped at the intersection, and started through and was struck by the Subaru at the 4 o’clock position. The Subaru went into an uncontrolled skid; it came to rest facing east in the west lane of travel, according to police.

The Toyota came to rest at impact, police say.

Both operators were using seat belts, and no injuries were reported.

Obenrader was charged with a traffic violation.
