Driver Swerves to Avoid Turning Vehicle, Crashes into Parked Car on Route 28

REDBANK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a collision occurred on State Route 28, in Redbank Township, Clarion County.

Police say around 7:30 p.m. on June 22, a 2003 Ford was traveling southbound on SR 28 and attempted to turn left into a parking lot in front of a 1996 Ford Explorer driven by 57-year-old Todd J. Seligman, of DuBois, which was traveling northbound on SR 28.

The Explorer skidded and swerved to the right into a parking lot in front of the 2003 Ford and impacted its left front into the right front of a parked 2001 Town and Country, according to police.

The driver of the 2003 Ford was charged with a traffic violation. The operator’s name was not released.

Seligman was using a seat belt and was not injured.

No other information was provided.
