Fulmer photoEdward C. (Eddie) Fulmer, 69, of Vowinckel, died early Monday afternoon, June 30, 2014 at his residence after an extended illness.

Born August 6, 1944 in Brookville, he was the son of the late Clair Edward and Lenore G. McCool Fulmer.

Eddie married the former Darlene Stuckey in July, 1964 and she preceded him in death on May 13, 2001.

Mr. Fulmer worked for 35 years as a park ranger at Cook Forest State Park. He was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church.

Eddie is survived by a daughter, Charlene Falk and her fiancée Brian Desjardin, with whom he made his home, a brother Donald Fulmer and his wife, Stella of Marienville and a sister, Star Fulmer
Surrena and her husband, Chyril of Jamestown, NY. In addition, he is survived by 2 grandsons, Lee Fulmer of Maryland and Shawn Falk of Virginia.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Fulmer was preceded in death by a son, Edward Charles Clair Fulmer.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, July 3, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at the Borland Funeral Home, Inc. in Leeper. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Daniel Richter, pastor of Greenwood United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
