TIONESTA TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police are investigating a fire that occurred around 6:09 p.m. on June 29, on Mayor Lane, in Tionesta Township, Forest County.

According to police, a fire origin and cause investigation is being conducted for a fire at a two-story, 40×28′ garage at 2332 Mayor Lane.

Police say the garage was almost completely consumed by the fire.

The loss of the structure and contents is estimated at $160,000.00.

At this time, the cause of the fire hasn’t been determined, and an investigation is ongoing.
