JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 12:17 a.m. on July 5, a suspected DUI crash occurred on Pansy Ringgold Road, in Beaver Township, Jefferson County.

Police say this crash occurred as 23-year-old Joshua Michael Angiolelli, of Reynoldsville, was traveling south on Pansy Ringgold Road and lost control of his 1997 Jeep Cherokee while negotiating a left bend in the roadway.

The Jeep crossed over the double yellow line into the northern lane of travel, exited the eastern portion of the roadway, and struck the guard rail, according to police.

Upon impact, the vehicle traveled approximately 20 feet until coming to a final rest facing south.

Police say Angiolelli was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI.

The Jeep sustained heavy left side damage and was towed from the scene by MacPherson’s.

The release did not indicate whether Angiolelli suffered any injuries.
