30-Year-Old Fisher Man Arrested for Allegedly Fleeing and Eluding Police

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — According to police, around 8:16 p.m. on July 5, a 30-year-old Fisher man was arrested for Fleeing and Eluding Police on State Route 322 in Clarion Borough.

The incident occurred from Main Street and 5th Avenue in Clarion to Pine Ridge Lane in Fisher.

Police say Trooper Yockey initiated a traffic stop on 30-year-old Brian Darnell Carter, of Fisher, for an expired inspection on SR 322 in Clarion Borough.

According to police, Carter allegedly fled toward his residence where Trooper Yockey took him into custody without incident.

Police say Carter has no license and was wanted for failure to appear on Providing False ID to Law Enforcement charges.

He was housed in the Clarion County Jail on the bench warrant with Felony Fleeing and numerous traffic related charges to be filed.
