Seeking an energetic, creative-minded chef to complete our farm-to-table concept restaurant team. Must have experience in vegetarian cooking, but also knows how to handle meats well. Previous catering experience a plus. Bartending knowledge a plus. We resource foods locally and organically as much as possible, establishing close relationships with farmers; smoke meats in house; and offer a menu that changes based on seasonal foods.
Gateway Lodge is a rustic luxury lodging establishment in Cook Forest State Park. Our restaurant caters events and retreats onsite, and is open for breakfast and dinner daily. A Sous Chef would be required to work independently on some evenings/afternoons. Compensation determined upon experience. Position available immediately.
