Wilbur C Badger, affectionately known as Bud passed away peacefully in his home in Kennerdell, PA, at the age of 79 surrounded by family who loves him dearly early in the morning on July 9, 2014.
Bud was born in Apollo, PA, to Joseph and Ruth Badger on May 23, 1935.
After graduating high school he joined the US Air Force in 1955 where he served as a technical sergeant for twenty years.
He married Lois Badger on May 7, 1970, in Fayetteville, NC, and moved up camp permanently after their children were raised. Bud loved fishing, hunting, building, and just being by the river with his family. He mixed a mean drink and played a good hand of cards. Bud loved his cats and spoiled them rotten, almost as much as his grandchildren. He was the best pa, friend, husband, mentor, and drinking buddy anyone could ask for.
Bud is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Lois, five children; Pam, Joe, PJ, Brenda, and Buddy, his grandchildren, and his sister Joan Howlett.
A viewing will be held on Saturday July 12, 2014, from 12pm-3pm with services immediately following at McKinley Funeral Home located at 109 Emlenton Street Clintonville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kennerdell Church of God.
