Member_136363Marcia Jane Neely, 54, of Town Towers in Oil City, died Thursday morning, July 10, 2014 at the Clarion Hospital following a period of declining health.

She was born in Oil City on March 10, 1960 to the late Stewart and Betty (Uncapher) Neely.

Marcia attended Oil City schools and studied cosmetology at Vo-Tech.

She was active with the Oil City Salvation Army and assisted them with various fundraisers.

She attended the Victory Heights United Brethren Church.

Marcia enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Hope. She also enjoyed socializing with her friends, and watching comedy movies.

Surviving are four children: Elisabeth Goldberg and her husband Brian of Seneca, Thomas Decker, Eric Decker, and Daniel Decker, all of Rockland; her granddaughter, Hope Heath; three sisters, Linda Murray of Rouseville, Janice Craig and husband Melvin of Oil City, and Deborah Thompson and husband Gayle of Cabot; two brothers, Robert Neely of Oil City and Terrence Neely of Rouseville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother and his wife, Timothy and Ellen Neely.

A memorial service to celebrate Marcia’s life will be planned and details will be announced at a later date.

The Hile-Best Funeral Home, Inc. in Seneca, Cranberry Township is completing funeral arrangements.
