Police Seek Information on Theft from Vehicle in Emlenton

SCRUBGRASS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a theft from a motor vehicle occurred at COGO’s, on Emlenton-Clintonville Road, in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.

According to police, an unknown perpetrator(s) entered an unlocked window of a 43-year-old Emlenton woman’s 2002 Chevrolet Malibu which was parked behind COGO’s.

The perpetrator(s) removed a mailing envelope which contained the vehicle’s registration and insurance cards, police say.

The perpetrator(s) also removed a small pink bag which contained miscellaneous beauty supplies valued at $30.00.

Police say the perpetrator(s) then fled the scene in an unknown direction by an unknown means undetected.
