Member_136402Sally A. Flockerzi, 85, of Seneca, died Friday morning, July 11, 2014 at UPMC Hamot in Erie following a brief illness.

She was born December 13, 1928 in Oil City to the late Eila (Mock) Yost.

She was a graduate of Oil City High School.

Mrs. Flockerzi was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Oil City.

Sally enjoyed playing dominos, doing word-searches, the companionship of her two cats, Shay and Reba, and spending time with her family. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mom, and grandma.

Mrs. Flockerzi retired from the Cranberry Area School District after many years of service in the cafeteria department there.

She was married in Greenville on June 16, 1950 to Eugene E. Flockerzi, who preceded her in death on July 15, 2007.

Surviving are her four children: Jean Ann Moffett and her husband Ed of Oil City, Dennis Flockerzi and his wife Pam of Elkton, Maryland, Christine Guthrie and husband Rich of Oil City, and Abby Flockerzi of Seneca; a son-in-law, James Carner of Senecal; her grandchildren: Jeffrey Moffett and wife Heather, Steven Moffett and wife Darla, Brayton Carner and wife Jamie, Bryan Carner, Alex and Olivia Flockerzi, Erin Frawley, and Darren Frawley and wife Kassi; her great-grandchildren: Ryan and Matthew Moffett, Alexis Moffett, and Emery Carner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Carner; and her brother, Thomas Yost.

Friends will be received Monday (July 14th) from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, Inc., 2781 Rte. 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Byron Myers, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.

Entombment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens in Cranberry.
